Maya de Forest is a multidisciplinary artist living and working on Treaty 1 territory in Winnipeg, Manitoba. While photography and books have been central to much of her past work, de Forest has begun working in new mediums inspired by her late father’s mind, the archive he left behind and his dementia. Her photo work has been exhibited in Canada, the U.S. and abroad and her self published book I love here now, was distributed and sold internationally.
